A drinks brand with
more to discover.

Bring the shop, the story
and the distillery together.

For In the Welsh Wind, Royal Flush’s Shopify and website work sat alongside a wider relationship covering brand development, positioning and audience strategy.

More than a row
of bottles.

The website brings several parts of the business into view: spirits to buy, a distillery to visit, experiences to explore and a story behind the drinks. Each needs a clear place without making the shop difficult to find.

A way into the place,
as well as the products.

The distillery presentation carries across desktop and mobile, with a strong image of the building and clear information about visiting. The experience extends beyond choosing a bottle.

The website work uses Shopify, bringing the ecommerce offer into the same visual world as the broader brand. The drinks, place and practical information feel connected rather than presented as separate businesses.

Brand & digital

Give a distinctive name
a world to belong to.

The wider brand work developed In the Welsh Wind’s connection to the Welsh landscape. Positioning and audience strategy helped sharpen a direction built around distinctive taste and a stronger sense of place.

The Murmurations campaign was part of that development. Its landscape imagery and language gave the brand more to draw on than a logo and label, with a character that could carry into the website.

Detail that belongs
to the drinks.

Botanical illustrations add another layer to the visual language. Alongside the bottle photography and landscape imagery, they make the presentation specific to the drinks rather than a generic shop template.

The result shown in the project work is a website where shopping, exploration and the distillery story share an identity.

An ongoing relationship

Thinking beyond
a single project.

Website work formed part of a broader relationship, with strategic support alongside creative development. Ellen’s review speaks to that continuing involvement.

“We have run a number of successful projects and ongoing monthly support with Ben and have always been impressed with the feedback and strategies we have been given.”
